Mr. Cory has 49 years of experience in the investment industry, all with Hilliard Lyons until the purchase by Robert W. Baird & Co, Incorporated in April of 2019. He began his career as an equity analyst in the Research Department and became an Investment Broker in 1982. In 1990, he was named to the Chief Executive Officer’s Council, the most select group of top producers. In 1996, he was named Director of the Investment Management Group and Hilliard Lyons Trust Company, a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of Hilliard Lyons. He returned to the client relationship side of the business in 2001, and to his career-long passion of helping individuals in their pursuit of financial success. Mr. Cory holds Securities Licenses Series 7, 24, 63 and 65.

Mr. Cory received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University. He has served as President of Washington and Lee’s National Alumni Association as well as President of the University’s Louisville Alumni Chapter. In addition, he serves as a FINRA Arbitrator, is a former Senior Warden of St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, former board member of Kentucky Country Day School, Norton Hospital Foundation and Yew Dell Gardens. He served as Treasurer for the Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic and the Historic Homes Foundation, and Local Chair of the Kentucky Lacrosse Umpires Board and was a longtime women’s official. He has been married for 47 years, has two grown daughters and two English Springer Spaniels. In his spare time he enjoys travel, cooking, golfing and long walks.

Ms. Moore has 20 years' experience with the firm, including six years in the firm's Trust area. She holds the Certified Financial Planner® certification, which requires extensive training and study in retirement planning, education planning, risk-mitigation planning, estate planning, ethics, and investment management. In addition, Ms. Moore also holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Ms. Moore holds a master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Simmons University, an all-women’s school in Boston, Massachusetts.

Outside of the office, she is a volunteer board member for the Board of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center and the treasurer of The River Valley Club. Additional community service has included serving on the boards of The Home of the Innocents, the Endowment of Kentucky Performing Arts, Women for Women, The Cabbage Patch, and Kentucky Country Day School. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Ms. Moore loves traveling, reading, and walking in Louisville’s parks.

A Louisville native, Clare joined The Cory Moore Group in 2024 with extensive experience in Project Management and Client Service. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Centre College. She also holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses.

In her off hours, you can find Clare reading, trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors with family and friends, and teaching classes at Pure Barre Cherokee Park, where she is a certified instructor.
